Multi Minority Activist

Ali Raza Khan is a young HIV positive , Shia muslim minority , gay activist from Pakistan working for his community since 2015, focused on SRHR, HIV, extremism prevention and peace building. He has worked with multiple local, national & international organizations for the rights of young people from minority communities including ethnic, religious, sexual and gender minorities. As a Shia Muslim minority he started working for peace building and preventing violent extremism as a member of IRCYA Commonwealth Jewish Alliance and AU iDove community. As a gay individual he is currently leading Pride Pakistan initiative working for LGBTQI+ community in Pakistan. As an HIV positive individual he is serving as member of communities’ delegation to the board of the Global Fund and co-lead in The PACT. He has been awarded with Youth Leadership Award 2021 and HIV HERO Award 2021 by APCOM for his work for SRHR and HIV.

🌱 Food and Climate

Ali Raza Khan’s journey in food and climate advocacy began with a strong academic foundation, earning a bachelor’s degree in agriculture with a major in food science from MNS University of Agriculture, Multan, followed by a master’s in Food Safety and Quality Management from UAF Faisalabad, where his thesis focused on food microbiology. Building on this expertise, Ali has actively contributed to both local and international initiatives addressing climate resilience and sustainable food systems. His work spans grassroots campaigns, policy dialogues, and youth-led climate action, including engagements with organizations like WWF, Climate Voices and World Food Forum. Where he supported Pakistani youth involvement in environmental sustainability and climate actions in Pakistan.

🕊️ Peace and Youth

Ali Raza Khan has been a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and peacebuilding, working across borders to foster inclusive dialogue and civic engagement. Through platforms like iDove : The Interfaith Dialogue on Violent Extremism, Global Muslim Jewish Youth Yunity and Asia Pacific YKP Youth Conference are platforms of exchange and learning for youth working on preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) and building social cohesion. In Humanity In Voices he worked on youth-focused policy consultations, he has championed the role of young people in shaping peaceful futures. His participation in national and international youth peace building actions and community mobilization efforts reflects a commitment to elevating youth voices in decision-making spaces. Ali’s work emphasizes the intersection of peace, gender equality , health rights, climate justice, and youth leadership, inspiring a generation to take ownership of their communities and global challenges

❤️ Health and Gender Equality

As Coordinator of Young Positive People Ali Raza Khan has led impactful health and gender equality initiatives, particularly focused on HIV awareness and stigma reduction. His outreach includes educational sessions with out-of-school adolescents and collaborations with public health experts to promote inclusive healthcare practices. Ali’s advocacy extends to gender-sensitive programming and community engagement, where he empowers marginalized groups, especially young girls and boys to access health resources and assert their rights. His work bridges public health, youth empowerment, and gender equity, driving transformative change at both local, national and international levels
