For over 15 years, my life has been a journey through shadows and light. I have faced the sterile walls of HIV clinics, the heavy silence of societal stigma in the streets of Multan, and finally, the bright lights of global advocacy stages.
But how do I share a 15-year journey with someone who hasn’t lived it? How do I make the struggle against stigma feel real, and the triumph of science feel reachable?
Today, I am proud to announce a new way I am telling this story: Ali’s Treatment Trek, an interactive “Artivism” game.
Why Games? The Power of “Playable Advocacy”
Traditional advocacy often relies on statistics and heavy reports. While those are important, they sometimes fail to capture the human resilience required to live with HIV.
By using ART (Artivism & Resilience Technology), I am turning my lived experience into an interactive journey. When you play Ali’s Treatment Trek, you aren’t just reading about my life—you are stepping into my shoes.
- You feel the pressure to jump over the “Wall of Sin.”
- You experience the necessity of collecting ART Medication to keep moving.
- You learn the life-saving truth of U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) through gameplay.
What is “Ali’s Treatment Trek”?
The word Trek implies a long, challenging journey through difficult terrain. This game is a 10-minute “marathon” that mirrors my 15-year reality.
- Stage 1: The Clinical Beginnings. Navigating the early days of diagnosis and the healthcare system.
- Stage 2: The Streets of Multan. Facing the daily hurdles of stigma, spiritual healers, and the weight of tradition.
- Stage 3: The Global Stage. Emerging into a “Discrimination-Free Society” where science and human rights lead the way.

I believe that to change minds, we must change how we communicate. My website is becoming more than a blog; it is a Game Center for Health Rights. By combining storytelling, digital art, and interactive gaming, I am reaching a younger, more tech-savvy generation. We are breaking the “taboo” of HIV through the universal language of play.
I invite you to play the game, share your high scores, and more importantly, share the message. Every time you collect a “U=U Scroll” in the game, you are helping us spread the scientific truth that can end the HIV epidemic.
The trek was long, but I didn’t walk it alone. Let’s finish the journey to a stigma-free world together.
